About Red Falcon JFC
Red Falcon JFC is a vibrant grassroots football club based in Keynsham, serving young players across the Bristol and Bath area. Founded in the 2017/18 season, the club has grown rapidly and now fields multiple boys’ and girls’ teams across all age groups, as well as a senior men’s side.
Their home ground, Somerdale Pavilion, provides excellent facilities and hosts matches, tournaments, and community events that bring families and local supporters together.
Inclusive Philosophy
Red Falcon JFC champions the idea that football is for everyone — regardless of ability or background. Whether players join simply to train, build friendships, and learn new skills, or to compete in league fixtures, the club ensures that everyone feels part of the Falcon family.
They are also proud partners of #HerGameToo, and were the first grassroots club to do so, reinforcing their strong commitment to equality and representation in local football.
Rapid Growth and Recognition
From humble beginnings with just three age groups, Red Falcon JFC now boasts 18 junior teams competing across the Hanham Minor League, Avon Youth League, and Bristol Girls League. The senior men’s squad, after back-to-back promotions, now plays in the Bristol & Suburban Division One.
This remarkable growth highlights the dedication of the club’s volunteers, coaches, and players — and reflects the growing enthusiasm for community sport in Keynsham and the wider Bristol area.
